Chemical and Petrochemical

Chemical and petrochemical industries are vital for Egypt’s economy and development. They produce a wide range of products that are used in various sectors, such as plastics, rubber, paper, detergents, paints, fertilizers, and glass. According to the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum, the petrochemical industry contributes to about 12% of Egypt’s total industrial production and is worth around $7 billion annually.
